Southwestern Company Truth Getting the truth out

Southwestern Ignored Health Problems

I only made it 5 days in to the program- after contracting the flu in Chicago on my way to Nashville, I was told to ignore my minor health problem and continue with the group. Two days of training later I was in the ER with major dehydration. As a 21 year old first-year Southwestern book seller I actually tried to set an example for younger sellers. This included running everywhere in 90 degree heat, repeating sales talks over and over, and eating and drinking nothing. But still my health problems were ignored until too late. This happened within the first five training days. Needless to say I was on a plane back home by day 3 of training, I was told I had to purchase my books and pay for seminars....I ignored these requests and since have not been contacted by the Southwestern book company. All the while a good friend, my sale manager is stuck paying for all kinds of supplies she never received and shipping costs on these...anyway the whole thing was pretty whack. Interesting experience.

PS: I would love to meet the sale rep with a 90k summer, ask them what they gave up for it...their soul?
